Through Sculpture and paintings Giacomo Morelli focus his artistic research on the origin, the beginning, the act of creation, the principle. “I consider my works instruments that reflect on the very condition of the essence of art, investigating themselves, are put in relation with the outside world, creating timeless imagery, wondering the relationship between the contemporary and archetypes, the elements the quotations, the play and the creative act as original act. In my work, these relationships are created that converge by similarities or differences, deliberately emphasized to investigate the final result and therefore the very origin of the work and art.”
